Happy Easter, I pray that you have a wonderful day with family and friends and are reminded on this day of the incredible sacrifice Jesus made just for you. It really is beyond understanding, when you take the time to think of it.
Today our family will be enjoying a traditional Ham dinner, Amy's potato casserole, Sig's fresh asparagus, Aunt Lu's deviled eggs, and my pear and blue cheese salad and chocolate dipped strawberries. Ahhh, what could be better!
You forgot Cynderella Pennella's southern cornbread dressing! I fix it with ham or turkey. And you already have my recipe. Tell everyone hello and send my love... CYN
ReplyDeletePS: Baby Nik is cooking your "braciole" recipe for us Texas family members today for Easter. This is her first attempt, but she has turned into a very good cook. This is a funny thing as you well know, she had little interest in eating or cooking as she was growing up. What a difference having a husband and three children makes. I love your blog. HAPPY EASTER!! ... CYN
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me about the cornbread dressing. I love that, and it is always on our Thanksgiving table. I never thought of making it with Ham, consider it a new part of Easter's menu. I am so tickled that Nikki is using this blog. She has turned out to be one amazing young women, wife and mother! Big hug coming your way!
